Brother John Thomas Crowe, C.S.C., passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, at the age of 90 in Austin, Texas
Brother John Crowe was a devoted member of the Congregation of Holy Cross for 65 years, dedicating his life to service, faith, and education.
His legacy is especially cherished in Rancho San Antonio in Chatsworth, California, where he served in leadership roles for over 50 years, shaping the lives of countless young people with compassion, wisdom, and unwavering commitment.
Brother John played a vital role in supporting our St. Alphonsa community when we first began in Rancho San Antonio.
We are profoundly grateful for the many ways he supported and guided us during the early stages of our church community.
His generosity and kindness have left a lasting impact that will always be cherished.
Brother John will be laid to rest at The Brothers of Holy Cross Assumption Cemetery in Austin, Texas, near his brother, Vince Crowe.
To honor his remarkable life a Catholic Mass of Remembrance will be held on March 1, 2025, at 2:30 PM at St. John Eudes Church, 9901 Mason Ave, Chatsworth, CA.
